Worst experience EVER
Not only did our family NOT get to stay in the house we booked, but when we pulled up there was a whole other family in this home! They told us they booked too and that the property was awful! We called the host several times with no response and finally contacted VRBO customer service. We have children with special needs and 2 babies as well and we were stranded 1500 miles from home with no options for us except to book a hotel and we had to pay for it upfront and then VRBO says we will get reimbursed for it. We couldn’t find a hotel anywhere until almost 2 am. I was beyond frustrated for my family. This was an an awful experience for my children and this ruined our family Christmas vacation. We ended up finding several rooms to book and had to pay 1500 to accommodate our large group. Now VRBO is saying they will deduct the price of our original rental and only reimburse us for what was left over??? This is not only ridiculous but unacceptable and we will never book through here again! They blamed the host and the host blamed them. It’s all so wrong!! Don’t recommend this property that the host finally contacted us thru messages and was going to “make it right” and here we sit days later with nothing! L

Disappointed
Trash all over the driveway, 4 trah cans overflowing. House had not been cleaned. The bedding and towels were all dirty. Hot water heater leaked. Dryer had heat but didnt tumble. Jacuzzi had no water and hadnt been used in a long time. Tried for 2 hrs to gget a hold of somebody with the property management and VRBO but just kept getting the run a round. I was finally told that they would give back the clean fee but that never happend. They also said they would send someone out in the morning to clean and that never happend. So we had to clean the house and wash the linens and still cant get any answers from the property management or VRBO. fee and they would sending someone out in the morning M

Fraudulent Practices and Unprofessional Handling – Stay Away!
I strongly advise against booking this property. My family’s Thanksgiving plans were ruined due to a last-minute cancellation, with only 2 hours' notice before check-in. The owner claimed the roof was damaged, but this seems like a cover-up for fraudulent activity. Some family members arrived early and, luckily, got a chance to speak with the current occupant, who confirmed they had been staying in the property since 11/27/2024, with a booking running through 12/01/2024—directly conflicting with our reservation.
This situation shows a deliberate attempt to overbook the property and force guests into renting other properties owned by the same individual, which are far from the city. While we didn’t accept this offer, others may feel pressured into doing so as a last-minute option.
The owner's lack of transparency, failure to provide a timely solution, and absence of any apology or compensation caused significant emotional distress and disrupted our holiday. This is a clear case of negligence and dishonest practices to maximize profits at the expense of guests. I cannot recommend this property—be cautious and avoid the risk of dealing with such unprofessional behavior.

Not taken care of
This house could be great but nobody takes care of it (or cleans)Arrived at 2 am. House was at 96 degrees when we got in. The listing States there are no pets allowed but there were more than quite a few stains all over the carpet. I supposed someone could have spilled drinks in every room of the house though. I mistakenly had gas station pizza on the 4 hour drive to havasu and had to use the bathroom something fiercely. The first bathroom I found had a broken toilet seat but I couldn’t chance it so there I sat with my cheek getting pinched, drenched in sweat because it was a scorching 96 degrees inside. Fridge was dirty, roof had a hole in it, umbrella was halfway in the pool with a broken support. I was a bit bothered. In to the bedrooms. No beds had sheets except the little crib mattresses and one queen bed had a fitted sheet halfway off. Got to the laundry room finally and found all of the sheets and blankets bunches on the dirty floor. Towels were in the washer unwashed.probably because there was no soap for the washer. Also found a sheet outside in the rocks. There’s quite a few more things, but I’m tired of typing now. Would have been a fantastic stay if they had a cleaning service or something.
