The house was spacious and matched the listing, and the price was great—but our experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, we found multiple trash bags left inside the home, creating a strong odor. All outside bins were full (trash day was the day we arrived), and found trash on exterior and some sort of critter made a mess of it. There were no extra toilet paper rolls, or trash bags and several beds had stained sheets and hair, which we discovered late at night and had to wash ourselves. The Jacuzzi was dirty and unusable. Exterior lights didn’t work, and though the host said he’d follow up, he never did—leaving the pool and patio in the dark. There was no WiFi the entire stay, so none of the TVs worked either. We informed the host, but nothing was resolved. The home has potential with its size and layout, but poor cleanliness, lack of basic supplies, broken amenities, and little communication made the stay frustrating. With proper upkeep and responsiveness, it could be much better.
