The space
Immerse yourself in nature at our lower-level retreat located next to a regional park, complete with trails, playing fields, and a scenic lake and gazebo. Just north of Colorado Springs in the tranquil Black Forest area, our home offers a perfect mix of nature and convenience to attractions and hiking. Our lux space comes with a private driveway on the west side for easy parking, a private entrance with an electronic keypad, and a stunning private patio with a pond and waterfall.
Inside, the open design connects a fully-equipped kitchen with a living area that includes a fireplace, pool table, gaming table, and even a slot machine. The space also features a gym, making it ideal for both relaxation and entertainment. Accommodating up to 8 guests comfortably, the home has three bedrooms—two with queen beds, one with a double—and a sofa bed, all with high-quality linens.
Despite our elevation of 8,000 feet eliminating the need for AC, fans are provided in all bedrooms for your comfort. Our five-star cleaning team ensures the home is spotless and sanitized, so you can unwind and feel secure during your stay.

Guest access
Guest will have private access to the entire bottom unit. Access to the entire lower level with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, laundry, home gym equipment, grill and outdoor seating area. There is 2600 square feet of open floor plan.

We require a refundable hold on your card for damages (released after checkout) OR you can opt out with a small fee by purchasing a damage waiver to stay insured throughout your stay.
- AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 21 years old. We cannot accommodate guests who do not meet this age requirement unless prior approval has been granted by us before check-in.
- The owner resides in the upstairs unit, which is well-insulated for noise reduction and completely separate from your space.

- We provide freshly laundered sheets, towels, and essentials such as soap and toilet paper for your convenience.
- To maintain a comfortable environment for all, this property adheres to a no-pet policy.
- Quiet hours are observed from 10 pm to 7 am.

- We have a strict limit of 8 guests and 2 cars per reservation.
- Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors.
- For your safety and security, there is an actively Ring security camera located outside the property, facing the front entry. This camera is used strictly for security purposes and does not record any interior spaces.
Please note: This property is not handicap accessible. Access to the front door requires descending 7 steps to the lower level.
For your security, after booking, we may ask you to complete our secure online guest verification process. This is similar to standard hotel check-ins where a photo ID is required. You may be asked to provide a government-issued ID and a matching selfie to confirm your identity. By completing the reservation, you also agree to be bound by our license to use/rental terms and conditions. This measure helps prevent fraud and ensures the safety of all guests.

Read this before you waste your money!! <br/>This home was not at all as described. First of all you're getting a small downstairs unit, for the same price you could have a whole house to yourself in the same area. The driveway is small and the upstairs unit gets all 4 of the garage bays. <br/>Here was the real problem though, the home SMELLS!!! It smelled musty & of cigarettes. 🚬 I have young kids and I don't want to stay in a frat house. The pool table had stains all over it & the carpets felt dirty. I contacted the host who did respond quickly, offering to have the home cleaned (it was 8pm) I was not open to this because I was extremely turned off by all of it. I had booked for 3 days & I asked to be refunded for 2 of the 3 days.... the host wouldn't do it. So I paid for 3 days and stayed for 5 minutes. The location is the only thing this rental has going for it. Rebekah

Very nice basement unit. The location was in the perfect spot to do activities in Colorado Springs and Denver. Host responds quickly and is very friendly! We had a great time staying at this place. We had a great time staying at this house. It's in a super peaceful neighborhood — really quiet and relaxing. We saw deer in the yard almost every day, and even caught a glimpse of a fox, which was pretty cool!<br/>The house was really clean and comfortable. It did get a bit stuffy in the main area during the afternoon since there's no AC, but the nights cooled off nicely. The Wi-Fi was a little spotty with all four of us using it, but it wasn't a big deal.<br/>Overall, it's a nice place to stay — perfect if you're looking to unwind and enjoy some nature.
