Stroll a few hundred feet to Memorial Park, the city's largest urban oasis, where you can enjoy a leisurely walk around picturesque Prospect Lake, let the kids play at the playground, or hit the tennis courts.
For coffee aficionados, Switchback Coffee Roasters is just a short stroll away, offering some of the finest brews in town.

The space
The layout here is simple, functional, practical and attractive. That's the theme with this home. (That and an exceptionally central and convenient location.) There's plenty of parking, too, in the back just off the alley-way/drive-way. Enter through the front door using the electronic code provided at check-in. You'll arrive into a bright, welcoming space.
The main-level living room is spacious and comfortable. There's a formal seating area/dining room surrounded by windows and a custom shelf for books built into the wall. The fully functional and practical kitchen is just beyond this space, ready to entertain and for your own culinary creations. Beyond this is a full laundry available for guest use.
Two of the home's three bedrooms are upstairs, on the main-level. Both feature queen comfort and quality linens, professionally cleaned and laundered. Attention to detail is paramount for us throughout our home and you'll appreciate the hotel-like atmosphere. The home's bath is clean and well-appointed. There's an additional bedroom downstairs, accessed just past the kitchen, also featuring queen comfort.
The outdoor living spaces at this home are notable as well. A deck features a gas grill and great views of Downtown and Pikes Peak. Nice place. Backyard was the highlight. Close to downtown for easy access to restaurants. The house was so comfortable and welcoming_ felt like home! There was everything we needed to enjoy our long trip, the kitchen was beautiful. We enjoyed many fires and beautiful sunsets. The host is very responsive and friendly. Definitely would book again! FYI my wife wrote this. She stayed home while I work 60-70 hrs a week.
We stayed for 3 weeks, rather than the full month we booked for due to serious issues. A mirror fell and hit my daughter, a picture frame fell on me in bed, the bathtub didn’t drain, the smoke alarm would go off every time we’d cook, and the fan’s blades detached when turned on, almost hitting my 9 month old, the bathroom light flickered, and we found mouse traps.
The worst part was discovering a broken drug pipe under the entertainment center and a bloody syringe under the bed that poked me. Now, I need months of testing for diseases. I now cannot breast feed my 9 month old due to medication prescribed. Also, have a 5 year old and a 9 month old who were running around the house all day, I’m fortunate they weren’t the ones who picked up the pipe or syringe.
AirBnB gave us a refund, but that doesn’t erase the stress. I wouldn’t recommend this place and believe it should be removed from the platform. Norbert

In town on business for a two week period, this was a comfortable stay with all the amenities needed to make you feel at home.
