I booked Phillip‘s place to work remotely and relax but I got way more than I paid for. The neighborhood is so beautiful and peaceful, you can walk the trail or the neighborhood safely. Check in was a breeze and he had absolutely everything you need to make any dish in the kitchen, like absolutely everything. My husband and I are very active and having a full gym in the basement was amazing! The machines are top notch for bodybuilding. Stores were nearby and very easy access to the freeway. The place was spotless and cozy, the beds were so comfy. We seriously felt right at home, if we had a question he responded right away. I would recommend his place to anyone wanting to relax in a beautiful area. I didn’t bring my pup but he even had nice big dog beds in the main areas and the trails are perfect for walks. I had a last minute request, twice, to extend my reservation and he responded right away. This place is seriously amazing, book it! We will definitely be back!

The house is equipped with everything you would need. Had a great time using the pool, jacuzzi, putting green and outdoor space hanging out in the evenings. Highly recommend the host and house

One of the cooler AirBnb's I've ever booked. There were 11 bedrooms, 2 kitchens and multiple gamerooms and yards w/ pools. Our whole group was very comfortable all hanging out in the main house but it was nice to have all the extra space and sleeping quarters. Cheap ubers from the Airport and to Rainey and South Congress. We walked to dinner at 1618 one night, don't sleep on that place! Still can't believe this place exists so close to downtown, we felt like we were on an episode of the Real World.

Really quiet and safe neighborhood. We practically lived in the hot tub as it is perfect "Hot Tub" weather in Arizona right now. The house was clean and modern, and was very private. I also loved the back yard. Macario was very responsive and gave us a late check out option which I really appreciated. Honestly the perfect week would absolutely stay here again.

From check in to check out Macario was quick with responses and very professional. The home was everything that we expected and then some! The bathroom in the main bedroom was the biggest perk for me! I wished that it wasn’t snowing so I could’ve opened the door to the balcony. The beds were comfortable. We loved everything about the home. I would definitely stay again.

If you don’t need tons of space, this is a great place to call home away from home! The house is set back from the street, so feels very private. There was a guest or two below me, but I did not hear them at all, so again, private and peaceful. I didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit due to cold winter weather, but the spot looks inviting and cozy. The lights are on every night, so it also feels welcoming.

This was a great stay for our family of 4 and our furbabies. The backyard was big for the dogs to run and the inside was spacious enough for the kiddos to play with their toys. Working from home was not quite the best at this location just due to the inconsistency of the internet connection. But overall was a great place. Thanks again.

This our third time staying at Phillip's place. It's in a great location near downtown Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs. Since I travel full time, having a second bedroom here is great for an office space. His place was clean, well managed, and everything I needed for a month long stay. Would stay again.

Philip’s cabin was well worth the price. I would do it all over again! I was looking for a quiet cabin for a much needed two week respite and Philip’s place checked every box. I love how it’s not far from Woodland Park or Colorado City; both great communities. <br/>The cabin was very clean. I felt warm and comfortable. The fireplace made a huge difference. The kitchen had all the proper amenities. I cooked meals with nothing missing for each meal.<br/>I would love to stay here again!

The property is just perfect for single or couple with a dog.  The home is very welcoming, lights were left on for our arrival which was at dusk so appreciated being able to see. Big home with big backyard. The view wasn’t perfect but you could still see the mountain range. The home was very clean and comfortable. Wifi worked great and cell service was good (verizon). In a cul-de-sac and no issues from neighbors. Close to everything - food, parks, hiking, & city. Was a nice place for my cat and I to spread out and relax.

What a fantastic house. We had a great stay. The house was perfect for our group. We came to ski and you couldn't find a closer location to the Mountain. We had room for family style meals and to spread out. The kitchen was fully equipped and the appliance were top notch. The garage was even big enough for our sprinter van.

We loved this location and the hot tub / outdoor patio with the view was perfect! Quiet neighborhood seemed very safe with easy access to the 101, restaurants, grocery stores, hiking trails. Large area inside to spread out. Could use a little TLC but overall space is great.

Great place to stay in Phoenix! It was affordable, clean, and comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet and pleasant. We loved how close it was to so many great restaurants and local spots. A really nice value and an easy, relaxing stay.

We had multiple issues during our stay. The home smelled like pet feces and required additional cleaning on our part. The backyard flooded leaving the property unusable. And the host was slow to respond or resolve our issues. The home was also not in the safest of neighborhoods.

Floor needs to be fixed near back door. I wish there were flat baking sheets in the kitchen. Another roll of paper towels would have been nice.  Otherwise, fantastic experience and I’d consider going again.

This listing is a great find in the Downtown Phoenix area. I appreciate how close it was to most popular places, with 20-30 minute drives being the most we spent in a car each time we hopped in. The home is spacious, clean and has a nice modern feel and awesome amenities. From the dishwasher, the laundry room, fire pit, arcade machine to the hot tub. The hot tub particularly was a hit with my group. The grass near the hot tub does get a bit wet during use but you can avoid any mess by using the stone path around the yard. Finally, Macario was a great host; he was very attentive, friendly, and helpful with the overall planning of my first trip. I really appreciate the extra mile he was willing to go to make this trip an enjoyable experience. When I come back to Phoenix I will definitely be looking forward to staying here again! Overall, my friends and family were super impressed with the home, it made for a great pre-holiday vacation.

Our stay at Macario’s was less than what we were expecting. We arrived and found the lock box on the gate broken and on the ground. Inside the light fixture in the kitchen was  hanging down which I notified right away so we wouldn’t be responsible. I was kinda worried  when asked to purchase a $50 damage waiver or put a $1000 credit hold on my card for damages when I booked. Part of the kitchen floor had been taken up an a big rug placed over it like some work was being done. We had 6 people staying with only 5 towels and no wash clothes, one of the beds were sagging and the drain cover in the master shower was off. We had to purchase some of those items at the store for our stay. Overall our stay was just ok.  Not the best and not the worst. The location wasn’t too far away from some of the places we went.

Perfect area for spring training you’re only about 15 minutes away from American family field. The home is perfect for just a few days stay any longer than that I would suggest asking for more towels, washcloths, hand soap, and even more cooking supplies. There were only a few pots and pans and utensils and no cooking sheets, so if you plan to cook there, you will have to Bring extra things or accommodate elsewhere. Even as simple as salt pepper, sugar things like that. The kitchen also had childproof locks on all the cabinets. Otherwise a great stay for what we were there for, host was very responsive to any questions and concerns. Would stay again for spring training!

We enjoyed our stay. The house is really big, perfect size for the four of us. One thing to note: there are spots on the floor where it is uneven. My mom had trouble navigating the kitchen/living room area because of it. And the floor was really dusty in the bedrooms/under the beds, like no one had been in the house for a while. There was a keurig and a toaster oven in the kitchen, some pots and pans, but not a lot of staple cooking things. The front and back yard were a bit overgrown, and there were muddy areas in the backyard (I think the sprinklers come on overnight). The backyard is nice. I thought it was a bit overpriced for the stay overall, but the neighborhood was nice and it was easy to get to from the airport.

Wonderful place, clean and quiet. Nice neighborhood. We had some issues with the heater system and the hot tub at the beginning, however the manager was so kid in sending somebody to repair them. The communication with him was excellent. We had a wonderful time staying in this place. We love the hot tub and the quiet the neighborhood. The house doesn’t have a lot of cleaning supplies so if you are going to stay for more than a week you better bring some with yourself. There’s some dogs barking in front of the house, but you can just heart them in the front rooms, they didn’t bother us at all. There’s tones of restaurants, shops, gyms, and everything you could need close from here, downtown is about 10 minutes driving.If you want to stay in a quiet, nice and central neighborhood this is a good option.
