The house was beautiful and felt new.  There are three floors which allowed for my family of 5 to spread out.  The views were spectacular.  We especially loved the sunrises and the summer afternoon rains.  The proximity to Cripple Creek was a big selling point for us.  Overall, I highly recommend this cabin.

Pros: 1.  Excellent location in a quiet neighborhood. 2.  Very nice big yard for kids and pets to play.3.  Nice kitchen with almost everything needed to cook a meal.4. Enough space to park a vehicle in the driveway. 5. The kids liked playing ping-pong in the playroom.6. We were able to program the Air Conditioner to our liking after trial and error. It was really cold when we arrived. 7. We liked the  open concept of having the living room, dining area, and kitchen in one big room.8. We enjoyed watching a movie on the living room big screen TV. 9. We had breakfast underneath the covered patio and it saved us and our pet from getting wet during a storm.10. Location, location, location. All the attractions we went to were 10 to 15 minutes away and there is a Walmart five minutes away from the house. Cons:1. We were not able to use the stove and oven at the same time. You can only use them one at a time or they would trip the circuit breaker.2. In order to spend time outside sitting on the table under the covered patio, we had to get rid of some spiderwebs and kill one or two spiders. There were also spiderwebs right above the front entrance of the house. There’s a bush near the outside table that has a lot of spiders.3. In the master bedroom, the top of the tank of the toilet was cracked and was held on by tape.4. The AC air return needs to be dusted and it may need a new filter. The pros definitely outweigh the cons. We really enjoyed our stay.

I recently stayed at the Airbnb called "Colorful Colorado," and overall, it was a decent experience. The host was incredibly friendly and proactive in communication, which made me feel welcome. However, the neighborhood wasn't ideal. There were quite a few stray cats around, and some loud, sketchy neighbors made it hard to relax at times. While the accommodation itself was nice, I wish the surrounding area had been a bit more pleasant.

Great location and beautifully appointed home.

We had an extended family gathering here in the Springs to spend time with aging in-laws. The house was amazing and had everything you could think of available. The kitchen was loaded with more plates/bowls/glassware/silverware as well as cooking bowls and was top notch! The Blackstone grill and backyard, added to the amazing evenings hanging out back once weather cooled down. We had a great time!

Such a beautiful and unique place to visit and unwind! The deck was the perfect spot for meals for our large family and the views didn’t disappoint! We were grateful for the games available for us to use. We had some great conversations using the questions game!

The treehouse is adorable, and the surrounding area is just so beautiful, you feel like you’re in a painting. The only downside was some loud music on one if the days, but the rest was pretty amazing. Also loved seeing the horses right next to us. Philip is also extremely helpful, kind, and communicative.

We were misplaced via bad ordeal with prior reservations with a different host/property. We had to book last minute after driving in 12 hours. 5 STAR host! Responsive and instantly accepted our request for booking. House was spotless and very comfy! Wish would could have extended. Can’t thank you enough!

Our family had a wonderful stay.  We had 6 adults and 3 teens,  and we were very comfortable.  We especially enjoyed all the seating on the back patio with a beautiful view of the mountain.  All the furnishings and appliances were modern.  The house was very clean and felt like a true vacation home.   The neighborhood was extremely quiet.   We loved the location- close to several attractions and restaurants.  I especially enjoyed the restaurants in Old Colorado City only a few minutes away. We had a small problem with the trash from previous tenants,  but a message to the hosts had the problem fixed shortly.  Our only recommendation would be to provide a few more hand towels.   Overall we had a perfect stay and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a comfortable,  quiet location.

We really enjoyed our stay at Philip’s place! Check-in was smooth, & the home had everything we were looking for - reliable WiFi, TV, central A/C, a very comfortable king-size bed, a full kitchen, laundry room, & private driveway. The entire house offered great privacy & was the perfect size for two. The location is just a couple of blocks off the main road in Manitou Springs - close enough to walk to the shops & restaurants, though be prepared for a bit of a hill on the way back. It’s also ideally situated for visiting Garden of the Gods & Pike’s Peak, & only 25 mins from COS Airport. If you’re looking for a comfortable, private home away from home, this place is a great choice. Highly recommend!

Fantastic place, absolutely loved it. The place itself was beautiful, clean and well maintained. The area is quiet and secluded. It was so fantastic to have our coffee on the front porch and watch the horses go by. We will book this one again next time we are in the area.

Very nice place! The highway noise mentioned in another review was not an issue. We appreciated the air conditioning that was available. Travelers with a non-standard schedule (such as those getting up extremely early to hike Barr trail) should be aware that every step can be heard/felt from the neighbors in the larger unit upstairs. Plan accordingly with ear plugs if you intend to sleep early/late. The host was communicative and responsive, and we appreciated the easy check in/out. We would stay here again.

I booked this stay for a buddy and myself, 3 days and 2 nights. He lives in phoenix, I was visiting from out of town, and this was meant to be a staycation for him. We LOVED IT!!! The amenities were amazing, there was so much to do without having to go that far beyond your front door. Everything was just like the photos so my expectations were absolutely met. The entire property is clean and well maintained. You have everything you need in your room to be comfortable during your stay. Check in was a breeze and the host is so helpful and friendly! They communicate great and are very responsive. They called me prior to check in to see if I had any questions or concerns, even called to check on me to make sure I was satisfied and had everything I needed before check out. Amazing stay, worth every penny, could not recommend more!

Was a cute little complex that had great amenities. Only critiques were the couch and pillows had stains, since everything is white (tiles and countertops) there is obvious use, wear, and tear. Overall cute little retreat. Has parking, AC works well, and has a full kitchen with upgraded appliances and washer and dryer (if needed). Wish there was a TV in the bedroom, but thats a personal preference. Would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in phoenix, especially due to its location.

My boyfriend and I stayed here as a little staycation for Valentine’s Day. It was perfect and went beyond my expectations! We had so much fun on the pickle ball court, and I even brought roller skates to roll around on. There is a pizza restaurant down the street, about a five minute walk. The place was very neat and there were kitchen utensils already stocked up!

The hosts were very prompt in getting us into the home last minute, close to midnight, they were also very responsive when we needed them to be. The cleaners hadn't shown up yet so we weren't able to stay the fist night but they sent someone in to clean very early in the morning in addition to crediting the cleaning fees. Very friendly. Fixable situation that resulted in us staying for another night happily. The back yard is very fun for little ones. There wasn't access to the pool or the bbq.. no clear instructions on how to get into the yard but still very peaceful area, enjoyed it. With a solid management team that's local, they'd  have a really cool set up, so it has potential. Great for the price.

We booked this location primarily for the outside yard area, games, and amenities.  It did not disappoint!! Our family of 4 loved spending time outside playing on the swings, ping pong, basketball, corn hole, pickleball, and swimming.  The house was comfortable for us with the sleeping arrangements (our kids are younger and they prefer to sleep in the same room as us when we travel anyway).  The surrounding area seemed safe and peaceful.  We would absolutely come back to this home!

We came into town to golf and the place was exactly what we were looking for. Great central location making no golf course too far away. Only downside was the lack of some kitchen supplies (no sharp knives, dish soap, drying rack) but that was very minor!

Great place to stay. I like that there is a gate to keep all of our vehicles safe at night. Quaint but clean. Loved the artwork by the artist on the walls. Bed is soft and the sheets and blanket were incredibly soft as well. Quite a bit of hair everywhere but other than that, great stay.
