The house was beautiful and felt new.  There are three floors which allowed for my family of 5 to spread out.  The views were spectacular.  We especially loved the sunrises and the summer afternoon rains.  The proximity to Cripple Creek was a big selling point for us.  Overall, I highly recommend this cabin.

Pros: 1.  Excellent location in a quiet neighborhood. 2.  Very nice big yard for kids and pets to play.3.  Nice kitchen with almost everything needed to cook a meal.4. Enough space to park a vehicle in the driveway. 5. The kids liked playing ping-pong in the playroom.6. We were able to program the Air Conditioner to our liking after trial and error. It was really cold when we arrived. 7. We liked the  open concept of having the living room, dining area, and kitchen in one big room.8. We enjoyed watching a movie on the living room big screen TV. 9. We had breakfast underneath the covered patio and it saved us and our pet from getting wet during a storm.10. Location, location, location. All the attractions we went to were 10 to 15 minutes away and there is a Walmart five minutes away from the house. Cons:1. We were not able to use the stove and oven at the same time. You can only use them one at a time or they would trip the circuit breaker.2. In order to spend time outside sitting on the table under the covered patio, we had to get rid of some spiderwebs and kill one or two spiders. There were also spiderwebs right above the front entrance of the house. There’s a bush near the outside table that has a lot of spiders.3. In the master bedroom, the top of the tank of the toilet was cracked and was held on by tape.4. The AC air return needs to be dusted and it may need a new filter. The pros definitely outweigh the cons. We really enjoyed our stay.

I recently stayed at the Airbnb called "Colorful Colorado," and overall, it was a decent experience. The host was incredibly friendly and proactive in communication, which made me feel welcome. However, the neighborhood wasn't ideal. There were quite a few stray cats around, and some loud, sketchy neighbors made it hard to relax at times. While the accommodation itself was nice, I wish the surrounding area had been a bit more pleasant.

Great location and beautifully appointed home.

We had an extended family gathering here in the Springs to spend time with aging in-laws. The house was amazing and had everything you could think of available. The kitchen was loaded with more plates/bowls/glassware/silverware as well as cooking bowls and was top notch! The Blackstone grill and backyard, added to the amazing evenings hanging out back once weather cooled down. We had a great time!

Such a beautiful and unique place to visit and unwind! The deck was the perfect spot for meals for our large family and the views didn’t disappoint! We were grateful for the games available for us to use. We had some great conversations using the questions game!

The treehouse is adorable, and the surrounding area is just so beautiful, you feel like you’re in a painting. The only downside was some loud music on one if the days, but the rest was pretty amazing. Also loved seeing the horses right next to us. Philip is also extremely helpful, kind, and communicative.

We were misplaced via bad ordeal with prior reservations with a different host/property. We had to book last minute after driving in 12 hours. 5 STAR host! Our family had a wonderful stay.  We had 6 adults and 3 teens,  and we were very comfortable.  We especially enjoyed all the seating on the back patio with a beautiful view of the mountain.  All the furnishings and appliances were modern.  The house was very clean and felt like a true vacation home.   The neighborhood was extremely quiet.   We loved the location- close to several attractions and restaurants.  I especially enjoyed the restaurants in Old Colorado City only a few minutes away. We had a small problem with the trash from previous tenants,  but a message to the hosts had the problem fixed shortly.  Our only recommendation would be to provide a few more hand towels.   Overall we had a perfect stay and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a comfortable,  quiet location.

We really enjoyed our stay at Philip’s place! Check-in was smooth, & the home had everything we were looking for - reliable WiFi, TV, central A/C, a very comfortable king-size bed, a full kitchen, laundry room, & private driveway. The entire house offered great privacy & was the perfect size for two. The location is just a couple of blocks off the main road in Manitou Springs - close enough to walk to the shops & restaurants, though be prepared for a bit of a hill on the way back. It’s also ideally situated for visiting Garden of the Gods & Pike’s Peak, & only 25 mins from COS Airport. If you’re looking for a comfortable, private home away from home, this place is a great choice. Highly recommend!

Fantastic place, absolutely loved it. The place itself was beautiful, clean and well maintained. The area is quiet and secluded. It was so fantastic to have our coffee on the front porch and watch the horses go by. We will book this one again next time we are in the area.

Very nice place! The highway noise mentioned in another review was not an issue. We appreciated the air conditioning that was available. Travelers with a non-standard schedule (such as those getting up extremely early to hike Barr trail) should be aware that every step can be heard/felt from the neighbors in the larger unit upstairs. Plan accordingly with ear plugs if you intend to sleep early/late. The host was communicative and responsive, and we appreciated the easy check in/out. We would stay here again.

The backyard is full of things to keep every child and adult busy all day. The pool was perfection. Temp just right for this summer heat. Plenty of towels provided. Lots of seating space in and outside of the home. Lots of beds and pillows. Very tidy. Host was super responsive. I had a couple of questions during my stay and they were right on top of it. One of my guests also forgot some jewelry after checkout and they were very helpful to assist her to retrieve. Only recommendation would be to have at least salt and pepper available for guests to use. Great stay overall. Thank you.

The place was great! It is suitable for family vacations with a lovely backyard and has lots fun indoor and outdoor activities to do. Check-in and check-out was pretty easy. Place was convenient as well, it was close to the freeway, has nearby restaurants, fast-food chains, CVS and grocery stores. The hosts were very responsive whenever we have questions and would address our concerns right away. Would recommend this place and will definitely book again in the future.

Some things I wish it had was soaps for bathroom and more mirrors I know that’s a silly thing to say, but for paying so much you would think there would be hotel like amenities and for being a obvious group house those are things a group of girls need. The house was very beautiful and very home like. Just was not happy about having to go buy toilet paper and a power cord to watch tv. There  was no broom there for me to clean the mess up from my kids eating. There was towels that was laid out for us to use and the was dirty. The floor had my socks black on bottom

There were a few amenities missing that were listed in the description, however, Macario was very responsive and made sure we had them overnighted.  Thank you! We arrived around 5:30pm, but the cleaning lady was still inside, so we could not check-in.  Macario offered a later check-out.  The place is great for big families with a few fun activities in the house, but it's missing a few amenities that would help make you feel more "at home".  If you offer a grill, have grilling utensils.  Kitchen was missing a few things, like baking bowls, blender and baking dishes.  The mattress in one of the rooms had several stains and there were no dressers to keep your clothes off the floor or luggage. One of the rooms was also missing a mirror and all the beds are very low to the ground making it difficult to sit and get up.  Many doors are not hung properly so it's quite difficult to shut them.  On the plus side, the AC worked great, and there's plenty of privacy.
