The house was beautiful and felt new.  There are three floors which allowed for my family of 5 to spread out.  The views were spectacular.  We especially loved the sunrises and the summer afternoon rains.  The proximity to Cripple Creek was a big selling point for us.  Overall, I highly recommend this cabin.

Pros: 1.  Excellent location in a quiet neighborhood. 2.  Very nice big yard for kids and pets to play.3.  Nice kitchen with almost everything needed to cook a meal.4. Enough space to park a vehicle in the driveway. 5. The kids liked playing ping-pong in the playroom.6. We were able to program the Air Conditioner to our liking after trial and error. It was really cold when we arrived. 7. We liked the  open concept of having the living room, dining area, and kitchen in one big room.8. We enjoyed watching a movie on the living room big screen TV. 9. We had breakfast underneath the covered patio and it saved us and our pet from getting wet during a storm.10. Location, location, location. All the attractions we went to were 10 to 15 minutes away and there is a Walmart five minutes away from the house. Cons:1. We were not able to use the stove and oven at the same time. You can only use them one at a time or they would trip the circuit breaker.2. In order to spend time outside sitting on the table under the covered patio, we had to get rid of some spiderwebs and kill one or two spiders. There were also spiderwebs right above the front entrance of the house. There’s a bush near the outside table that has a lot of spiders.3. In the master bedroom, the top of the tank of the toilet was cracked and was held on by tape.4. The AC air return needs to be dusted and it may need a new filter. The pros definitely outweigh the cons. We really enjoyed our stay.

I recently stayed at the Airbnb called "Colorful Colorado," and overall, it was a decent experience. The host was incredibly friendly and proactive in communication, which made me feel welcome. However, the neighborhood wasn't ideal. There were quite a few stray cats around, and some loud, sketchy neighbors made it hard to relax at times. While the accommodation itself was nice, I wish the surrounding area had been a bit more pleasant.

We had an extended family gathering here in the Springs to spend time with aging in-laws. The house was amazing and had everything you could think of available. The kitchen was loaded with more plates/bowls/glassware/silverware as well as cooking bowls and was top notch! The Blackstone grill and backyard, added to the amazing evenings hanging out back once weather cooled down. We had a great time!

Such a beautiful and unique place to visit and unwind! The deck was the perfect spot for meals for our large family and the views didn’t disappoint! We were grateful for the games available for us to use. We had some great conversations using the questions game!

The treehouse is adorable, and the surrounding area is just so beautiful, you feel like you’re in a painting. The only downside was some loud music on one if the days, but the rest was pretty amazing. Also loved seeing the horses right next to us. Philip is also extremely helpful, kind, and communicative.

We were misplaced via bad ordeal with prior reservations with a different host/property. We had to book last minute after driving in 12 hours. 5 STAR host! Our family had a wonderful stay.  We had 6 adults and 3 teens,  and we were very comfortable.  We especially enjoyed all the seating on the back patio with a beautiful view of the mountain.  All the furnishings and appliances were modern.  The house was very clean and felt like a true vacation home.   The neighborhood was extremely quiet.   We loved the location- close to several attractions and restaurants.  I especially enjoyed the restaurants in Old Colorado City only a few minutes away. We had a small problem with the trash from previous tenants,  but a message to the hosts had the problem fixed shortly.  Our only recommendation would be to provide a few more hand towels.   Overall we had a perfect stay and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a comfortable,  quiet location.

We really enjoyed our stay at Philip’s place! Check-in was smooth, & the home had everything we were looking for - reliable WiFi, TV, central A/C, a very comfortable king-size bed, a full kitchen, laundry room, & private driveway. The entire house offered great privacy & was the perfect size for two. The location is just a couple of blocks off the main road in Manitou Springs - close enough to walk to the shops & restaurants, though be prepared for a bit of a hill on the way back. It’s also ideally situated for visiting Garden of the Gods & Pike’s Peak, & only 25 mins from COS Airport. If you’re looking for a comfortable, private home away from home, this place is a great choice. Highly recommend!

Fantastic place, absolutely loved it. The place itself was beautiful, clean and well maintained. The area is quiet and secluded. It was so fantastic to have our coffee on the front porch and watch the horses go by. We will book this one again next time we are in the area.

Very nice place! The highway noise mentioned in another review was not an issue. We appreciated the air conditioning that was available. Travelers with a non-standard schedule (such as those getting up extremely early to hike Barr trail) should be aware that every step can be heard/felt from the neighbors in the larger unit upstairs. Plan accordingly with ear plugs if you intend to sleep early/late. The host was communicative and responsive, and we appreciated the easy check in/out. We would stay here again.

Not a safe or a good place to live. Alot of tresspassers are entering the building and making too noise even at mid night. Even people trying to break the door to get inside the building irrespective of time. Even some random people tired to break the backdoor of the building as well , so it's not a safe or peaceful place to live.

A clean and easily accessible place in central location. WiFi and kitchen lights didn't work the whole time I was there, which was unfortunate. There were also some concerns regarding noise and late-night behavior among the neighbours. Well worth the price though!

Though the host is communicative, and tries to help; we couldn’t deny the reality of the situation that of the location. Outside was very unsafe and we experienced confrontations, while inside, particularly the neighbours across from the apartment are very loud, and disrespectful. Shouting, yelling, and arguments kept going every night until 3 AM. When we felt unsafe, we tried to reason with the host and get a refund for the remaining amount of nights and he refused. Safety of the client should come first.

The apartment is comfortable and in a perfect location, making it ideal for two people. The third bed, however, is quite uncomfortable and not really suitable for use. Although there was a small issue during check-in, it was eventually resolved. The TV works well with YouTube and online channels, but the antenna doesn’t seem to work and could use some attention. Overall, considering the price, it’s a great option, and I’d recommend it for couples or two travelers.

More of a younger area with good restaurants / cafes / supermarkets - very convenient tram stop near by and easy to get everywhere - good shower and wet room, very warm Cons - soundproofing is terrible and noise from neighbours kept us awake all 3 nights. The owner really needs to sort this out and refit the door and the door frame. I wouldn’t stay again until this is fixed.

A nice and cozy apartment in Kallio, close to tram and metro stations - a good starting point for exploring Helsinki. The apartment is not facing the relatively busy street, but instead its window is facing the inner part of the block. Still, it can get a bit noisy from the hallway because the entrance door is not very soundproof. We spent four nights at Macario's place and had a good time.
