This unit was absolutely not cleaned before check-in. We arrived to dirty sheets, full trash cans, no paper products, stained couches and carpets, and visible dirt throughout the house. We notified the host immediately, but they refused to allow us to cancel and instead claimed cleaners would be sent. After 18 hours, no cleaners ever arrived.<br/>The house also reeked of marijuana, making the situation even more unacceptable. After multiple attempts to resolve the issue, the host stopped communicating entirely, forcing us to contact Airbnb support ourselves.<br/>Despite only staying less than 24 hours in the home due to its unlivable condition, we were still charged 70% of a one-night stay for a property that was never cleaned and did not feel safe or comfortable. An Airbnb should feel like a home away from home—this felt worse than a public space. Honestly, the floor at Walmart is cleaner.<br/>This experience was completely unacceptable.
