Enjoy a quiet, cool Colorado evening under the stars as you fire up the grill on the private patio, surrounded by roses in bloom; or relax under the gazebo in the hot tub lit by the calm orange glow of the Edison lighting. Big trees, green spaces…all invite you to relax, and rest, especially after a long day of experiencing all the natural and built wonder that Colorado Springs has to offer.

When you first enter the home, you are greeted with a lovely kitchen with new appliances, and all the essentials you might need for cooking up a delicious meal. Coffee included. Right next to the kitchen is a dining area. Past the dining area is a spacious living room with a 55 inch TV and a brand new beautiful, glass rock gas fireplace right below it; perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking and Colorado adventures. The living room also includes large, slanted windows that give you a great view of the front yard and plenty of natural light. The bathroom has been recently rejuvenated with new flooring a brand new sink. Excellent quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided for your convenience, along with fresh towels, hand towels, and washcloths .
-Each bedroom includes its own Dressers, nightstands, and closets with lots of room for storage.
-Plenty of private parking provided! The detached garage is available for guests, however it will probably not fit large trucks or SUVs.
This home is completely private to you. You have access to the entire house, including the grounds and inviting, verdant, private backyard. Unfortunately, the garage and parking spot in front of the garage are not available for guest use.

This home is located in a wonderful neighborhood just north of Downtown and close to the Olympic Training Center, Colorado College and Patty Jewett Golf Course and Clubhouse—the Springs' oldest municipal Golf Course (which incidentally has an amazing, under-utilized grill and patio open to the public, with incredible views of Pikes Peak!)
We recommend that you have or rent a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in Colorado Springs. Bus schedule provided upon request!
ATTENTION:
* We provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like shampoo, soap, toilet paper etc.
* No smoking or vaping (of any kind) is allowed indoors;
* No Parties or Events
* Garbage bins are located in the back alley.
- When operating the living room blinds, ensure button is pressed before retracting or closing.
- Remote for fireplace is located on mantle, be sure to turn off fireplace after you have finished using. (Pilot light will stay on)
- Please park in the designated areas. Do no block the neighbors driveway in the back of the house.
-The property is not fully fenced, there are open areas where dogs can escape.

This house is dog friendly, Please be respectful of those who will stay after you by cleaning up all pet waste and disposing of it in the large trash bins. Thank you in advance!
* Dogs are welcome for an additional fee ($75 per dog). 3 dogs max. All dogs must be approved before check-in. No other animals are permitted unless they are Certified service animals. There are no charges for service animals.

I would not recommend properties managed by HOSTELLC. No one that I spoke to had been to the location and therefore they could rarely do anything more than copy and paste what I could already read for myself. It was poorly maintained. Windows were filthy. TVs weren't working until maintainance came 2 days later; garden was overgrown and sad; some batteries were dead (TV remote, fireplace remote, 1 of the carbon monoxide monitors)and several lightbulbs were burned out.
before arriving, I checked that the paths had been cleared of snow and were well lit. I was assured this was so. That was a lie. I could not find the side door in the dark and the snow and couldn't carry my bags (which wouldn't roll in it) to the house. I asked them to put me in a hotel but they wouldnt. I have asked for a partial refund
I may never stay in an AIR BNB again; but if I do, it will be one where the owner is checking it and takes pride in ownership, not one run by an absent management company.Show more Kristen

Cute house that was a good size for our family. Nice private backyard area. The main downside was the hot tub water was very cloudy and smelled bad when we arrived. Philip was responsive to messages, but ultimately the hot tub was not able to be used during the 4 day stay. Philip provided a suitable refund for this issue. There was also some dog hair found on bedding in one of the rooms so we washed those. A couple of other minor suggestions: since there is just one small bath for up to 6 people, it would be helpful to have some towel hooks in the bathroom and a couple of mirrors in other rooms. We enjoyed being close to Old Colorado City and Manitou.Show more Scarlette

The hosts were polite and responded quickly. The parking is in an alley behind the house, which was a bit confusing and a bit awkward hauling luggage thru the backyard but it was fine. There were two doors with code locks on them and it was unclear which to use. The door closest to the front of the house had an alarm that would randomly go off and then stop on its own. Could only really get one tv to work fully so that was unfortunate. The place says dog friendly but neither the front or back yard were fenced in so if you do have a dog, you cannot let them out freely.
