This place would’ve been OK if it wasn’t for the nasty musty smoke smell. It made us nauseous. Macario offered to send cleaners, but it’s not something you can scrub out. We left and went to a hotel, and then Makario ghosted us. We did not stay one night, and we got charged for three nights. The pictures are better than what is offered. There is a massive sea/land container in the parking lot. The directions are incorrect to get there, you have to take the second parking area on the left. Disappointed. Elena

We had good time staying in Half Pint small house while exploring CO. The place had everything we needed, full kitchen to cook sometimes, also walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Would return again! Macario was very responsive prior to our arrival and answered all our questions. The location was great! Walkable to coffee shops and restaurants downtown.
The unit was not ready until after 6 as the cleaners didn’t arrive until after 3:20 to clean it “due to an emergency.” At one point while waiting Macario sent a message “We will reply as soon as we can. Feel free to call 719-xxxx for assistance as well” with no explanation of who the 719 number belonged to or why we should call them. Macario did allow us to checkout an hour late due to this issue.
There is a fenced in yard good for dogs with 2 spots with astroturf however the yard’s rear gate that opens to the parking area off the alley does not latch well and has no lock. The full size bed was comfortable as was the loveseat in the small living room. The large window in the bedroom faces unit 424 which is directly across the sidewalk. The large dining area window of the eat in kitchen faces the neighbor’s back yard. Honestly had high hopes for this place because of the reviews were great and for the cost. But we were surprised walking into a bit more of a rundown unit. Water damage, bugs, mold.
The listing states that the parking lot is shared with the main house, which we thought was the main front house. But there was someone next door, in the shed that the fence is attached. His windows face the space you occupy, there was a random RV parked in the lot too.
We reached out to the hosts because there was no actual front lock on the main gate that there was supposed to be. No lock on the main gate. Homeless people could just walk right in.
Next was bugs. We were killing 5-10 bugs a day. They were coming through the door weather stripping and the wood window frames.
Finally, there was mold in the bathroom on the window because there is no ventilation for steam.
All of these were not worth the price unfortunately. I truly wish it was but this unit needs some TLC and maintenance.
