We stayed here for a week with our three kids (11,9,3). This place was in great location, had walkable restaurants, and the decor gave it such a fun vibe. Oh! And the beds were comfortable.
Because the house is almost 100 years old, there are some unavoidable creaks and quirks, but nothing that ruined our stay. You have the entire first floor and all private entrances and space. Although, there were some loud people upstairs who seemed to be moving furniture two nights in a row; that’s not a euphemism- that really did seem like what we were hearing. lol
For families: There is a wall of glasses that goes pretty low, so if you’re going to stay with a baby, you’d need to do minimal baby-proofing, but the layout of this house made it pretty kid-friendly. Although this is not a spot where kids can safely play outside (lots of foot and car traffic), we were by so many nice parks in Raleigh that it didn’t matter to us. Olajuwon
