Bad experience
First, we arrived to check in at 4pm as scheduled. However, when we arrived, there was a couple with a child “cleaning” and their dog. They said it would take another 30 minutes, but in reality it took another 45 minutes. And when we got in, the house was dirty; the beds smelled bad, the patio was covered in broken eggs and cigarettes. The barbecue was filthy, the carpet in the living room was disgusting, and the carpet in the playroom had urine from the dog that had been there before. We tried to cancel because of all this, but there was no agreement. It was a terrible place for those who are clean and like organization. I apologize for this review, but it was a terrible experience since I was embarrassed to bring business people with me during the two days we were there. R

NOT fit for a retreat of any kind
Upon arrival it was evident that the property was in major disrepair. Trash on the ground as we were walking in, chipped & peeling paint on doors. When we entered the home we were hit with the smell of old bacon and it was evident the house hadn't been cleaned. Upon further examination of the house it became apparent we couldn't host a corporate group. There were holes in walls, dirty furniture, cracked tiles, threadbare carpets, moldy showers and rusted bathtub. The door upstairs wouldn't open to allow egress in the event there was an issue. The photos online were clearly filtered to make it appear nice. Outside there was feces on the patio, filthy outdoor furniture, broken floaties in the hot tub and surrounding area. Host wouldn't answer the phone when I tried to call but immediately text back. When texting they initially said they would give us a refund and then later said that they would not refund the house. We were in the house less than one hour and still haven't received a refund when this home was clearly misrepresented. Very disappointing response from both the host and VRBO.
